Smoking Cessation

We provide a free NHS stop smoking service from our pharmacy, without the need to see a GP. 

We offer one-to-one confidential consultations with an experienced, trained advisor and weekly support to motivate and guide you to a healthier life. 

We provide a range of products to help a successful quit, including nicotine replacement therapy or tablets if they are suitable for you. 

You are 4 x more likely to quit with NHS support…. 
Give us a ring or call in to the Pharmacy to make an appointment and to pick up your FREE Fresh Start Pack.

This service comes FREE to you as it is funded by and provided on behalf of NHS Wales.

 

DMR Hospital Discharge Medicines Review

If you have recently been discharged from hospital you can make an appointment with our pharmacist for a FREE NHS Discharge Medication Review to check that any changes made to your medicines in hospital continue when you come home. Our pharmacist can discuss any concerns you may have about your medicines and will make a follow up appointment with you a month later to check that any problems identified have been dealt with. If you are unable to make it to the pharmacy we can provide this service over the telephone.

 

Flu Vaccination Service

NHS flu vaccination Service

We offer the free (NHS Wales funded) flu vaccination. Flu can be serious for those more at risk of developing complications and these people are entitled to a free NHS jab. These include the over 65s, pregnant women and those with certain medical conditions.

Private flu vaccination Service

If you’re not eligible for the free NHS flu jab we also offer a private Flu Vaccination Service. We charge £25 for our Private Flu Vaccination Service.

 

Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception is a tablet that a woman takes to help prevent pregnancy following unprotected sex. Unprotected sex includes when other forms of contraception have failed.
